Drop-Off Procedure for iPads and Laptops

⚠️ Critical Information for Family-Owned Devices

  • Drop-Off Date: Monday, 27 July 2026 (9:00 am – 4:00 pm).
  • Configuration Turnaround: Minimum of 72 hours (3 school days). Same-day service is not available.
  • Note: If you drop your device on or after the 5th of August, your device will be available for collection on the first day of school.
    • iPads will be distributed directly to your child’s class.
    • Laptops can be collected from the IT Help Desk in CKS.
  • Data Loss Warning: All iPads will be erased. You MUST back up your data before drop-off.

This page provides instructions for families using a family-owned device (purchased outside the school program). All such devices must be registered and configured by the IT Department to access the school network, printers, and learning resources.


1. iPad Drop-off Procedure

Eligibility: iPads must have been purchased after January 2025 and meet the minimum specifications.

Step 1: Required Preparation (Before Drop-Off)

  • Purchase FileWave License: All iPads require a 36-month FileWave license from Senco-Masslink.
    Support: 2152-4272 | Senco Portal
  • Back Up Data: Ensure all photos and documents are saved to iCloud or a computer.
  • Remove Security: Sign out of “Find My iPad,” iCloud, and App Store. Remove all screen passcodes.
  • Update iOS: Ensure the device is running iOS 18 or newer.

Step 2: What to Bring

✅ Item Details
The iPad Clearly labeled with Student Name (EN/CH) and Student ID.
Protective Case Must be on the device.
Proof of Purchase Printed email confirmation of the FileWave license.

*Note: Do NOT bring the box, charger, or cables. Send headphones directly to class on the first day.


2. Laptop Drop-off Procedure

Applicable for both Apple and Windows laptops. IT will install the school printer system and configure the “ISF Student” WiFi network.

Required for Configuration

To complete the setup, the IT Department must have access to a user account with Local Admin Permissions.

  • Please provide a temporary Username and Password for an Admin account.
  • Laptops will be held for a minimum of 72 hours for processing.
